Putting my thoughts into the written word

It’s another chapter completed. But reflecting on that, I never really had a means to share that story with others. Since becoming an adult, I have always had my personal website as a place to store my resume, but not much more. But the stories and sagas I have dealt with and overcome in solving problems in technology have been formative to me. Not just ideas that are helpful when I see them again. But also, seeing how patterns and issues rhyme. They might not repeat, but they do have a rhythmic function or a circular nature where problems might sound completely different at first but end up being similar problems just rotated around a pivot.

Why now

The AI and agentic era is speeding up everything. Time scales of 5 years ago look completely different from what is expected, and how fast time flies by in 2026. With AI doing a ton of the grunt thinking and code-writing work, what is there for humans to do? Well, quite a lot, actually: the context and the pattern recognition when AI and systems break or actually lie. I just want to spend time to actually reflect on my learnings and what I have done and accomplished. The work I have done recently compared to the work I did ages ago, and how they differ or if there might be a thread of commonality.

And I think with how fast I am experiencing things. I do want to give myself and my brain space to reflect and let myself remember by writing down what I did. And who knows, maybe this would be helpful for others encountering the same problems I investigated.

What’s coming

Besides a port over of data from my prior site for anything that needs to be current. I do want to start to empty the voices in my head and share my own thoughts. To show what systems have been breaking and how I worked around them.

If anything, I know it’s time for me to get busy writing down everything in my head.
